The OCM 1843 is a compact CWDM passive 4-channel optical multiplexer/demultiplexer designed to transmit and receive up to four individual signals over a single fiber link. Each module features an UPG (Upgrade) port, allowing cascading with other 4-channel modules, thereby expanding the system's capacity to a maximum of 16 channels. The modules can function as standalone units or be integrated into the optional RFR 1018 1/2 RU 19” rack frame, which can accommodate all four modules, making them ideal for system installations. They are particularly well-suited for use with CWDM yellobrik fiber modules, covering all 16 wavelengths.
