The OET 1940-MC transceiver facilitates the seamless conversion of multimode fiber optic Ethernet signals to CWDM single-mode fiber, enabling the extension of high-speed Ethernet connections over significant distances. This module includes a multimode SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) transceiver and requires the selection of an appropriate CWDM SFP to match the desired wavelength for CWDM multiplexing. By supporting standard Ethernet/Optical signals of 10Gbit/s or 1Gbit/s, the OET 1940-MC ensures compatibility with a wide range of network configurations, making it a flexible solution for integrating multimode fiber networks into CWDM infrastructures.
