The OTR 1840-1 addresses the challenges of distributing uncompressed broadcast-quality video signals over long distances. By integrating both transmitter and receiver functionalities in a single module, it provides a cost-effective solution for transporting SDI signals up to 3Gbit/s while maintaining full uncompressed quality. The module auto-detects and reclocks any 270Mbit/s, 1.5Gbit/s, or 3Gbit/s SDI source prior to conversion and is fully compatible with 3G Level A and Level B formats.
