The OTR 1440 is a CWDM fiber optic transceiver that integrates both transmission and reception of SDI video signals in a single, compact package. It effectively addresses the challenges associated with distributing uncompressed broadcast-quality video over long distances. Each OTR 1440 transceiver features independent transmitter and receiver channels, accommodating any SDI signal up to 12Gbit/s (4096x2160 @ 60Hz) while maintaining full uncompressed quality. Users can select from 18 transmitter wavelengths for comprehensive CWDM compatibility (ITU-T G.694.2). The OTR 1440 automatically detects and reclocks 1.5Gbit/s, 3Gbit/s, 6Gbit/s, or 12Gbit/s SDI sources prior to conversion and is fully compatible with 3Gbit Level A and Level B formats.
