The CQS 1462 is a compact and flexible solution designed to interconnect 6G/12G-SDI quad-link 2SI/SQD devices with single-link 1.5G/3G/6G/12G-SDI equipment. It supports bidirectional conversion between single-link and quad-link formats, accommodating both 2-sample interleave (2SI) and square division (SQD) methods. The module also operates as a distribution amplifier, distributing one SDI signal to multiple outputs, including an optional fiber output. Operational modes can be selected via a local rotary switch or through the LynxCentraal or yelloGUI control software. On-screen overlays facilitate link identification, aiding in troubleshooting connectivity issues or link loss.
